A table and
a few chairs were all the material resources we had when Herstreet
opened in 1994. Yet only a few years later the organization has helped change the daily lives of more than 500 distraught women. Herstreet has become a reference point for women living in the street. Over the past year, we opened our doors 3,726 times in order to end their isolation. |
