Herstreet is always looking for people who would like to help out.
There are many ways to contribute to our mission as a volunteer. We
require assistance in the following areas on both an ongoing and occasional
basis:

Front line services: technical
duties in the day centre, meal service, kitchen and clothing
dispensary help, transportation, deliveries and moving, etc. |

Administrative services:
reception, mailings, data searches, etc. |

Public relations: seeking
sponsors, donation solicitation, publicity, information chart
keeping, special events support, etc. |
| - |
Specialized fields: computer
help, photocopying and printing, translation, carpentry, framing,
hairstyling, special events management, etc. |

Caring sponsors network:
“person to person” contact and support during outside
activities (medical appointments, apartment hunting, shopping,
etc.); accompanying individuals and small groups on cultural
outings or leisure activities (shows, exhibits, visits to the
botanical garden, etc.) |
We welcome suggestions from volunteers for activities that would enrich
our activity program in the long term – for example, computer
workshops, outdoor and physical activities, cultural outings, etc. |
