The women who find refuge at the Olga House have access to a range of essential services, including:
– day centre and night shelter
– hot meal service
– clothing dispensary
– physical health follow-up*
– mental health follow-up*

*Services currently in development.

At any time of the day, evening or night, rotating teams of workers provide each woman with the kind of support she needs to overcome her difficulties. These workers have been trained to implement Herstreet’s mission and philosophy on a daily basis.

As a result, communal life at the Olga House substitutes as a positive experience for those who have too often been deprived of constructive relationships.

This context of openness has a therapeutic effect and is complemented by a program of follow-up activities and services in the community.
